One of Shreya's favourite things to do at the moment is to match lids on pots and pans and then take some spoons and make as much noise as possible. Mum is hoping that this develops into a passion for cooking!

Uncle Vikram came to visit us in February and unfortunately Shreya got the stomach flu the day he landed. After a week she was fully recovered and we managed to take Vikram out to Half Moon bay and enjoy some brunch at the Ritz. Shreya loved the grounds of the hotel. We bought Shreya a kid's purse as we saw how intrigued she was with bags in general. She never touches that purse but is more than happy to raid her mum's bag collection and walk around the house.

We had heard a lot about the the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito and finally made it there one saturday in January. Shreya was skeptical at first about the museum Once inside though, she realized what she had been missing out. Jumping around on the water bed. Taking an interest in the local pond life It wasn't long before the hands were in the water

We enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather in January and headed to Crissy Fields and the beach there to let Shreya show off her walking skills.

As you can see, mealtimes are still rather messy

Thanks to the playgroup we've joined we had a busy month celebrating all the first birthdays! Here are a few shots of the parties we were able to attend. Happy birthday to all our friends ! We returned home from the east coast to be greeted by a huge drum (thanks Uncle Vikram). Shreya wasted no time in showing us her skills !
