Before they left, we managed a day trip to Santa Cruz. Beach, kayaking for Nik, Nehal, Nathan and Shreya, a chance encounter with Kev, Nish, Naya and Shaan who also happened to be there, boardwalk rides and ice-cream to end the day - who could ask for more. On our return from Tahoe, we got to spend some time with my cousin Nik and his family who were visiting from Maryland. We returned to Incline Village to experience the magic of Tahoe in the summer. We weren't disappointed. Between the pool, the beach, the girls first jet ski experience, catching up with other friends who were also in the area and hikes around the lake we kept ourselves busy. We recently joined a wine club in Sonoma and one of the perks of membership is being invited to their annual summer BBQ. We managed to leave the kids at home and enjoyed a lovely, sunny afternoon with friends in wine country. Definitely a reason to remain members of this club.
