Camp Sawyer trail

This morning we decided to try one of the trails further south, the camp Sawyer trail. The trail was paved all the way which made for an easy walk for us and the scenery spectacular. One we will definitely return to. The girls clearly have their own notion of hiking gear (sparkly dresses and straw hats) and needless to say we got a few looks from the lycra clad serious hikers.

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
