World Cup fever

Today was sports day at school so I pulled out the England shirts I had bought the girls from my recent trip to London. Sadly my team didn't make it very far and quite surprisingly I found myself willing on the US team. Such a great world cup especially given the attention it was finally getting in the US.

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
