Dance recital

The girls have been attending a ballet class and this evening was the culmination of the lessons- a recital. The theme was 'around the world' and each class represented a different country. As parents, it was a wonderful evening seeing the girls on stage in front of a rather large audience.

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
