Escape to Punta Mita

In celebration of our upcoming 10 year anniversary (yes it is still a few months away), Nehal and I managed a getaway to Punta Mita for four blissful days. Having all the time in the world to ourselves was a novelty but we got used to it pretty quickly! The girls seemed to survive just fine without us so we need to make the getaway a more regular occurrence!

The resort was spectacular

As were the white, sandy beaches

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
