Morning in Healdsburg

On saturday morning we made a quick trip to Healdsburg to catch up with Santos who was visiting from Greece.

A few teenage girls were drawing in the gazebo in the square and when they saw Shreya watching intently they invited her to join them. She did so quite happily and below is her handiwork (a house which is pretty much her favourite thing to draw at the moment). Maybe having two teenage girls won't be so bad...

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
