Thanksgiving getaway - Palm Springs

This year we were in Palm Springs and LA/Orange County for the thanksgiving break. It was our first time in Palm Springs and I'd say its a perfect getaway for a few days with young kids. Not a huge amount to see but warm weather, nice resorts and most importantly plenty of opportunities to go swimming.

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac

We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
