This morning we drove down from our hotel to the Andrew Molera State Park for some trails. The drive is pretty spectacular as the road takes you along the Pacific Ocean. After some consultation, we did the short beach trail. An easy trail apart from the excitement in the beginning which had us crossing a creek. Sani opted for a ride on Nehal's back but Shreya braved the rather freezing water. It was well worth it.

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. We enjoyed a couple of days in sunny Sacramento this weekend. The kids (and the dads) had a great time running through the sprinklers to stay cool.
