Reading buddies

The kids in Shreya's class are paired with a 4th grader for some reading time every other week. Since the end of the school year is nearing, the reading buddies prepared a small letter to each of the kids in Shreya's class. Below is the letter and drawing from Shreya's buddy.

Here comes the bride...

As Shreya's summer school ended, we headed to the mid-west to visit Nehal's parents in Cleveland. While we were there, we were lucky enough to attend a family friend's wedding. It was Sani's first indian wedding and Shreya was only 6 months old for her last experience. The girls really enjoyed themselves and highlights  were dressing up and dancing. Sitting down quietly during the wedding didn't go down so well with Sani. Weekend in Sac
